Don't Let One Word Bother
60
Bad words have spoken
The movement of their lip I have read
Brought me a black token
My oven heat
My head is a pot of stress
With big open wound…
Lava heat my body…
Like that of a child in fever….
Thorn falling from my teary eyes
My hair spike like a porcupine…
My feeling is wavering like that of a
Raccoon who drank bottles of wine
My mind is going through insanity
From distress that was brought upon me
Wished life was perfect like a stream of water flowingly flow easily
But life won’t be perfect or nicely format like I wish it to be
Because life has its own way that leads no perfection
Existence of pain and happiness in my heart alone…
And today I’m dealing with sorrow
Angrily storming in my own home…
I can’t blame the world for what I feel
I can’t blame anyone who is near
But I could blame myself for being foolish
To open the door of hell intruding my heart
If I wasn’t so attached to what was said to me
I wouldn’t feel so miserable like I feel now
And the best thing for me to do…is to let go
And don’t let one words bother me and turn my good day around

hi, it's a really good poem. I like your choice of metaphors. Good images
I agree with the above comments. I can't imagine how the raccoon felt after drinking wine. HaHa. Cheers

Hi Chanroth, a well-composed poem you have inhere, I enjoyed it! I like this stanza:
"Thorn falling from my teary eyes
My hair spike like a porcupine…
My feeling is wavering like that of a
Raccoon who drank bottles of wine"
It's full of imagery, which powerfully depicts the emotionality of inner parts crystallized in physical appearance (thorn, teary eyes, bottles of wine). voted up and beautiful!
